Unposed candid pockets of real moments is what I strive for as your storyteller. I crave adventures, taking paths less traveled, getting weird, wrapping up in fields of light, leaving with traces of sand, wild hair, hearts fuller, impromptu dances and new found friendships with happy couples.

You said YES! Can we just stop and take a quick happy dance break?! You and your love are living in that season, the most wonderful kind with your best friend, your fairy tale dream. Time is fleeting and we are here for those sacred seasons, keeping them forever puzzle pieces of your story. Documenting the love and connection between two souls that life has threaded together into one is our dream work. I believe soulmates are brought to each other like a magnet finding its counterpart, that you were born to cross paths, born to love each other. I know a wedding is one of life's magic moments, creating a unique partnership of two lives and I document each one as if it were my own.  

I am thrilled you are here and considering Kayla Belle Photography! I am Kayla Pike, story writer, the owner and primary photographer of Kayla Belle Photography. Self- proclaimed hopeless romantic, fairy tale believer, reality tv aka The Bachelor fanatic, impromptu dancer, foodie heart, adventure chaser, in between moments hunter and true love documenter living for sunshine soaked memories. My biggest passion, next to being a mother to our five children, is having a camera in my hands. Capturing the stories, the special life-moving moments, the tiny details, of relationships and people is why photography is so important in my life.

Ever since I was little, I fantasized about the truest love, soulmates, bound together though time and fate. It is one I found I will never outgrow, along with the need to create playful moments filled with laugher and mutual weirdness. I have specialized in documenting love stories and family memories in the lovely state of Virginia and around the world for ten years. I began my photography journey teaching myself from a young age with film and in college I was formally trained with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photographic Imaging. The most beautiful stories I have ever seen are ones that unfold in front of my camera, images that can be cherished for years and generations long after.
